New Fairfield captured their first ever State Open title with a final score of 115.5 edging Danbury who finished with 112.5 points. In one of the most exciting matches of the day, Foran senior, Luke Edmondson, captured his first State Open title in the 285lb. heavyweight division with a 2-1 victory over Hakim Fleming of Notre Dame-Fairfield with one second left.
