- I was delighted when they asked me to do "The Pilgrim," but then I found--I got to rehearsal and found out that I actully was going to sing it with Kris and without any planning, we just sort of created a little kind of duet.

I just hope that he is feeling the respect, feeling the gratitude, that we're just so glad that we lived in a time when Kris Kristofferson lived, you know?

And we got to see him perform, and we got to hear those songs when they were first written and recorded, 'cause they will be around for the ages, definitely.
