This documentary focuses on Connecticut servicemen and civilians who lost their lives serving the Allied cause during World War II. "Heroes" weaves together a dramatic combination of excerpts from the biographies of state residents who were killed, readings of family letters, rare post-battle footage, photographs and interviews with veterans who lost friends.
