Hey everyone, I'm Chloe Wynne, host of the podcast Generation Gilmore Girls.
We're here on Pratt street in Hartford, Connecticut, and just a little while ago this whole street was filled with people and vendors, and everyone came to celebrate Stars Hollow Saturday.
So let's take a moment to bring you back to what it was like.
I just love, like, the relationship between Lorelai and Rory.
I feel like, very connected to the show, because I feel like my mom and I, like, connected through it.
It has such a sense of community.
I've been watching it since I was younger.
It's so nostalgic for me I'm such a huge fan that, like my senior quote was, I need my mommy and I don't care who knows it.
Also, my graduation party was Gilmore Girls theme, my drag cap said "In omnia paratus" with like, stuff all over it.
Like, I love the sense of community.
I love the fall vibes.
I love that it's a show that brings so many people together.
People are looking for wholesome shows.
I think people are looking to be come together as a community.
I think right now there's a lot of divisiveness, and people are looking for wholesome things that really point to love and family and that connectedness.
So I think that's why it's hit the sweet spot.
Like right now.
