Shipping containers are measured in TEU's Diamonds and precious stones are measured in carats.
An engine's output is measured in horsepower.
A ship's speed is measured in knots.
And horse races are measured in furlongs.
NASA measures the amount of travel sickness experienced by an astronaut in space in a unit called a Garn.
One Garn means you're pretty sick.
Beard growth can be measured in beard-seconds.
There are four pecks in a bushel and two weeks in a fortnight.
And a mega-fonzie is a way of measuring how cool something is.
And the smallest amount of measurable liquid that drips is called, what else, a drop.
